Trek to the JNU Caves on Sat.16th Feb.2013

Event: Walk to the JNU Caves (the weather is beautiful for this kind of trek thro the flora n fauna of JNU jungle)
Tucked away in the greens of JNU (part of the aravalli hill range) are a series of caves (actually, natural rock formations) which make for an 'out of city' experience. If you are lucky you might even encounter peacocks en-route

Do carry your cameras since there will be lots to click

The Event is open ONLY FOR MEMBERS

Fee: Rs. 50/- p.h.(small namkeen pkt + soft drink + 1 sweet)

Date: Sat. 16th Feb. 2013

Time: 9 a.m. to 1.30p.m. followed by lunch (contributory on actuals, in one of the JNU Dhabbas - not mandatory) Those who wish to leave after the trek and not join for lunch are welcome to do so.

Agenda: We shall meet at 9a.m. outside the JNU main gate
Wait for 15-20 min. for all to arrive and then move inside collectively.
Due to security reasons all vehicles shall not be allowed inside - hence we shall leave some vehicles at the gate and go in car pools inside the campus.

Nearest metro station: Hauz Khas - take an auto from there

Duration of the trek: 3-4 hrs. approxi. 10 - 1.30 p.m.
Dress code: comfortable walking shoes; comfortable clothes, maybe a cap;

Note:
Since the JNU campus has strict security rules especially for outsiders, large groups are discouraged. Hence there is a only a limited number of members that can be accomodated for this trek
We can accomodate ONLY 30 members (first cum first serve basis) Please carry your own water bottles.
Payment can be made on the spot at the JNU gate on arrival.
