H20 Rescue : The right combination!

The Details:

Having a sound water safety foundation is the hallmark for anyone considering a pursuit of kayaking. Our H20 Rescue program is the right combination of information and hands on skills to not only raise your awareness of the important of water rescue but also find what works for you! There is no one size fits all formula, but by taking you through a series of self rescue techniques, the participant will find a few that make the most sense and result in a safe return to your craft in an emergency. Like any program we offer, we will start with the basics and work our way up. If you a concerned about physical limitations, please don't be. We can work around this a variety of ways.

What you need?

-A smile, sense of adventure and willingness to learn
-Water and a snack for the event
-Sunscreen
-Post event change of clothing

This low ratio course in limited to (4) people and totally beginner friendly. Cost for the clinic is $60 per person.
Full rental packages are available if needed at an added cost for an additional $35.

Payment: Cash, check or card via Venmo makes it easy.

Please note that we will be working with our training partner Trophy Lakes located @ 3050 Marlin Rd · Johns Island, SC. As with all events, you will need to sign a waiver for both FDOutdoors.com and Trophy Lakes for this event.

Special Covid-19 Message:

For those paying attention, Covid-19 remains a threat. However, being careful we can enjoy time on the water. Please note that the LCP is following strict guidelines in accordance with CDC guidelines regarding the resumption of water operations. Please note the following. DO NOT COME if you meet any of the following:

• You have a fever and are not feeling well
• You have recently tested positive for Corona Virus
• You are elderly and not in good health
• You are a care giver for someone at home at risk
• You have recently recovered from Corona Virus
