About Howard

Howard Vlieger is a third generation Iowa farmer who, along with his son,
still works the farm on which he was born. He serves on the boards of
directors for the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA) and the Council
for Healthy Food Systems, and is a Co-Founder of Verity Farms. Howard is
uniquely qualified to speak on the subject of GMOs. He has worked as a
biological farming advisor helping family farmers in more than 10 states with
alternative crop and natural livestock production since 1992. Howard works with scientists and researchers from around the world investigating problems
associated with GMO crops. This, combined with real life experience, gives
him a unique perspective on GMOs.
