Before joining MedMen, Dais was the Political Director for the Marijuana Policy Project of New York (“MPP of NY”). While, at MPP of NY Dais successfully passed the PTSD Medical Marijuana bill, expanding access to medical marijuana to veterans in New York State.

Featured speaker, Mary Pryor is a passionate and vocal media expert currently based in LA and NYC . The Drug Policy Alliance is the nation’s leading organization working to end the war on drugs. Featured speaker, Chris Alexander, is a Policy Coordinator in the New York office where he works to advance marijuana reform efforts in the state of New York. Those efforts include leading the campaign to end marijuana prohibition in New York, Start SMART NY. The campaign is dedicated to ending senseless marijuana arrests and citations, creating a public dialogue on collateral consequences and the hyper criminalization of communities, transforming stigma, and building economic power.

Damian Fagon
Damian is the Chief Operating Officer of Sativeo, a mission-driven hemp cannabidiol (CBD) company focused on the careful cultivation, harvesting, and processing of industrial hemp in coastal South Carolina. He is an experienced entrepreneur who has worked with governments and companies to creatively structure, implement, and manage solutions within a range of industries and countries. While a graduate student at Columbia University, Mr. Fagon worked within various start-up incubators and agribusiness courses to explore a variety of industrial hemp and cannabis-focused market entry strategies, financial models and supply chain logistics, all while travelling extensively to California, Colorado and Jamaica to meet with hemp and cannabis farmers and industry experts.
