- 7:45 pm Beginners tango lesson

- 8:30 pm - midnight - Dancing / Milonga (Milonga = a name of a place where people go to dance tango).

- $20 fee per person paid at the door cash or Zelle

- BYOB, snacks will be available, potluck welcome

- Free parking in front & rear. DO NOT PARK on side of building.

- THIS IS AN ALL INCLUSIVE EVENT, change of roll welcome. Ages 18-98. Out of towners welcome. Observers Welcome.

- NO STREET SHOES on ballroom floor.

-Men- Bring a pair of dance shoes or shoes that have a bottom that will slide on the floor so you can pivot (no gym shoes or black bottom rubber soled shoes. Ladies- you do not have to wear heels, you can wear flats or tango high heel shoes, or dance shoes.

- If you are a beginner you can take the lesson and then stay to watch / or practice your dancing. If you want more space to practice there are two smaller available ballrooms for you to use.

-Dress- Theme this month is picnic. You can wear sundresses, shorts, Hawaiian shirts, or dress up. (People usually dress nice for tango).

- Etiquette- please be freshly showered and have fresh breath or chew gum / mints. Tango is a dance for two people that are in close, medium, or far embrace.

- Ballroom floor etiquette- If you are a leader dancing for the first time consider wat hung in the main ballroom after the lesson, then practice dancing in the smaller ballrooms until you can learn to navigate the dance floor. Tango is danced in a circle counterclockwise - aka: the line of dance.

- Excited to learn more tango? - We know the teachers with great group workshops or private lessons available to you. Learn tango and you can dance at the milongas all over the world for the rest of your life.
