This meetup is aimed at social & eBusiness entrepreneurs, activists and concerned citizens (!) working on new media and various apps to build a better world.
The meeting will start with a presentation by Victor d'Allant ( http://www.dallant.net , see below details) a leading figure for social entrepreneurs.
Some 3-5 entrepreneurs will then be able to present their projects.
Discussions will follow.
As usual, participants are invited to bring some drinks & food.

Victor d'Allant, Founder & CEO of San Francisco-based Dallant Networks
http://www.dallant.net/, will talk about social entrepreneurship, social
enterprises, and how social media can actually deliver social impact to
build a better world.
With eight resident bureau chiefs in cities around the globe, and a
Silicon Valley team of media, technology and development experts who have worked for Google, LinkedIn, eBay, Wired, Newsweek, Skoll and Omidyar, Dallant Networks provides deep sector knowledge, thought leadership and extensive networks.
Dallant's most recent clients include large foundations and international
organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford
Foundation, the Skoll Foundation (named after eBay's first employee and
first president Jeff Skoll) and the World Bank.
Victor started his career as a photojournalist. His photographs have been
exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. He holds an MA in social
anthropology from the Sorbonne and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
