Mapping in Drupal

Want your site to handle postal addresses, locations, GPS traces, or other types of geospatial data? Need to display all of that onto a map? Want something more elegant or sophisticated than Google Maps?
Come learn all about making maps and handling geospatial data in Drupal.
Jeff Schuler (https://www.meetup.com/cleveland-drupal/members/545056/) will present strategies for storing and managing addresses in Drupal, automatically translating them to geospatial coordinates, and displaying them on custom-styled maps.
We'll also briefly cover storing other types of geospatial data, and making beautiful, custom base layers for your maps using Tilemill (http://mapbox.com/tilemill/)and MapBox (http://mapbox.com/), and OpenStreetMap (http://www.openstreetmap.org/) data.
We'll primarily be looking at the following modules: Addressfield (http://drupal.org/project/openlayers), Geofield (http://drupal.org/project/geofield), Geocoder (http://drupal.org/project/geocoder), Views GeoJSON (http://drupal.org/project/views_geojson), Geofile (http://drupal.org/project/geofile), OpenLayers (http://drupal.org/project/openlayers), and Leaflet (http://drupal.org/project/leaflet).

We will begin the meetup with lightning talks and site showcases, (no Learn Sprint this time.)
This is a chance for you to do a brief presentation (~5-10 minutes) on a topic of your choice, or to show a site you've been working on. We'll allot time for 5 of these and try to keep them to about 10 minutes each.
