VMC Club - Live discussion (~30 min) about an actual flight scenario

Details
EAA Chapter 106 Monthly VMC Club Meeting - Bad Landing
This webinar will start with a very short (~5 minute) video of the scenario to set up the facts (pilot, plane, weather, mission, etc) followed by a roughly 25-minute interactive discussion of "What would you do?". There will also be a discussion of the VMC Club "Question of the Month" (see below).
The scenario titled "Bad Landing" describes an actual flight as follows:
Our pilot has made two go-arounds at Block Island in a cross wind, has hit a runway light and is now feeling vibrations. Try to land at Block Island? Go to another airport with better repair facilities?
Join in the discussion. Give us your opinion. You may be surprised at how many ideas the group will have and have some fun, learning at the same time! Please join us and tell us “What would you do?”.
VMC Club Question of the Month:
Consider the yellow tinted areas on a sectional chart. If you are flying outside a yellow area, is that considered flying over a sparsely populated area with regards to minimum safe flight altitudes (FAR
91.119)?
Open to all -- You do not need to be a member of EAA, nor EAA Chapter 106, to attend.
Once you have RSVP'd, the on-line zoom link will be visible.
The Meeting passcode is 709843
