This month's video scenario: as our pilot, you are preparing to do some takeoffs and landings in a Piper Dakota to maintain currency. It's a nice day, so you'd expect the pattern at the uncontrolled airport to be pretty busy. What precautions can you take to minimize risks and ensure safe operations when you're not the only one in the pattern? What would you do?

Question of the month: filing a VFR flight plan (and activating it!) can be important in terms of safety, but why and how can we make position reports throughout our flight to update our progress? What is the benefit of doing so?
EAA106 Chapter is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
