SLOW ART DAY - W3 GALLERY, ACTON

Hello Ealing Social Friends!

It’s Slow Art Day, this Saturday, 11th April.

To celebrate, I am facilitating slow art looking at the W3 Gallery, in Acton, London.

I will be there to guide you to look at selected art pieces including one of mine, and to help you look at art slowly, intently, and share your experience by drawing or writing, and we’ll have a discussion afterwards.

Even if you are not free to join me on Saturday, I encourage you to look at art slowly, and here are my tips:

• Look at one piece of art for 5 - 10 minutes.
• How does the art make you feel?
• Notice other things, e.g. colour, composition, texture, or anything else.
• Write or draw your experience, and express yourself fully, there is no right or wrong answer.
• Talk to someone about the experience, notice how you feel, and do it again slowly looking at another art piece.
