London Parks and South Bank Walk

Our easy walk takes in London's parks, South Bank, the City and Westminster. Walk starts with Green Park, walking through the park to Buckingham Palace and then into St James Park to Westminster. We will take in all the sights on the way to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. We will visit Parliament Square and see all the famous statues before crossing Westminster Bridge to the South Bank. We will walk along the South Bank with its many landmarks including the London Eye, Royal and National Theatres, Tate Modern, Southwark Cathedral and the Globe theatre. Plan is to end the walk at the Scoop at London Bridge to join in with BBC introducing, which is an opportunity to listen to up and coming new live music.
Refreshments
Cafes in all parks and on route. Picnic at the Scoop at end of the walk at about 7:00pm. Option to bring a packed lunch plus shops on route.
Travel
Start at Green Park (Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines), end at London Bridge (mainline, Jubilee and Northern lines)
