Portobello and Canal Walk

This easy walk starts from Baker Street in the Metropolitan Bar where we can have coffee or breakfast. We head to Merchant Square and onto Paddington Basin where we can explore this revived area along the Grand Union Canal. We will carry on to Little Venice and then on to our first stop for coffee, a church cafe. We then continue onto Goldbourne Road and make our way through the busy and lively Portobello Road. We end at the top of Portobello Road at the junction with Notting Hill Gate, with an option for a pub stop. Flat and easy terrain but may be muddy at part of the canal.
Refreshments
Plenty of cafes and restaurants on route. Bring a packed lunch if you prefer. Optional pub at the end.
Travel
Baker Street is on Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines. Notting Hill Gate is on Central, District and Circle lines.

10:00am prompt inside the Metropolitan Bar above Baker Street Station,
