What we’re about
Games for brains of lifelong learners just wanting to have some fun and socialize. First time free, after that there's a $20 admittance ($30 for couples) for monthly subscription (for food and venue costs, but also game supplies and texts we draw off of, etc).
We have specific and general game nights. For general it's up in the air and we might play anything. For specific it could be anything ranging from Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Monopoly, to more serious engine builders like Magic or Marvel Champions. Every once in a while we have a treachery theme and play Diplomacy or Secret Hitler.
Looking for intellectual inspiration and uplift? (Ex) Professor McKerracher has a background in philosophy, social theory, and the humanities, with a love for philosophy of science. He and his wife Ann used to teach at Boise State. Now they are homesteading at McKerracher Family Farm and setting up to homeschool their future children.
Skole gets its name from the root of "school" in the idea of active leisure time.
