The Early Screenings group for independent film is a monthly gathering of cinephiles who want to see some of the hidden gems of independent cinema before they go out to the public. How do we find those movies? The head of the group is a producer's rep, and head of an indie film distribution company that scours the internet and film fests for the best films to distribute. We show some of our favorites in sneak preview screenings before we release them.
Films we've shown have later ended up with theatrical runs, being acquired by Showtime, Starz, and others, and made widely available in retail outlets both brick and mortar and internet based.
