Los Angeles Crafters for a Cause
We are a collective of compassionate Angelenos who believe in the power of art to make a positive impact. Our group brings people together for hands-on, creative sessions that result in beautiful crafts and meaningful humanitarian aid. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, you'll find a welcoming community dedicated to crafting for a cause.
Group sessions
Our sessions are designed to be fun, relaxing, and socially engaging. All necessary materials are provided, so you can show up ready to create. We even include delicious refreshments and food to keep your creative energy flowing. We focus on two main projects:
T-Shirt heat pressing: Unleash your inner graphic designer by creating custom T-shirts using professional heat presses. You can use pre-selected designs or work with our templates to create a wearable piece of art. Participants will take home their custom-made shirt.
Resin art: Explore the mesmerizing world of resin pouring to craft unique decorative items like coasters, trays, or wall art. Our instructors will guide you through the process, from mixing and coloring the resin to creating beautiful, swirling patterns.
Supporting humanitarian causes
Every session is tied to a specific humanitarian cause, allowing our members to directly help others through their creativity. We offer two types of events:
100% Donation Sessions: In these special sessions, the entire admission fee is donated to a featured charity. You get a fun, creative experience, and 100% of the funds go toward a good cause.
Percentage-Based Donation Sessions: For these events, a portion of the session cost is donated. This allows us to cover material costs while still making a significant contribution. The specific cause and percentage donated are clearly listed in the event details.
What you get to take home
Beyond the satisfaction of supporting a humanitarian cause, you will go home with the unique craft you created. It's a tangible reminder of the positive impact you made and the fun you had with a community of like-minded individuals.
