Endangered and Threatened Species Commenting
Details
The current government administration is planning to roll back protections for endangered and threatened species as part of a larger plan to sell off our beautiful wild public lands to private companies to exploit natural resources and destroy our environment. Regulations.gov commenting from the public is currently open. We need as many people as possible writing in, professionally and eloquently, the importance of our public land and the wilderness to the American people and fight the selling of these majestic wilderness to billionaires to extract and destroy for corporate profiteering.
The commenting period closes on December 22nd. Let’s all get together at Dialogue coffee shop and write our comments to defend our public lands, give voice to the animals and our wilderness, and protect the environment.
I’ll be at Dialogue from 9 am till 1 pm. Drop in anytime to write your comment, and if you want, feel free to stay and hangout. We’ll probably go out somewhere for lunch around 1 pm (most likely Spicy Moon on Bowery). Just grab an open seat and write.
If it gets too packed, we’ll probably head over to the Whole Foods on Houston where there’s more seating.
Here are the links to the four open comments we will be writing for:
