Indoor Rock climbing at Extreme Edge
Details
Hey Team!!
Description
We have been running this MeetUp for a while now and have an amazing crew of regulars, some are experienced, some have started their climbing passion with us! So whether you are new or a seasoned legend, don't hesitate to come along and join us!
Remember if it is your first time, to come just before 6pm, as they do belay lessons on the hour, every hour (belaying is part of the climbing experience and you need to be signed off before you can belay another climber). Once you are signed off though, you will not need to do it again!
To speed up the process, please head to their website and sign the waiver before coming in . It is not super easy to find, it is a popup in the bottom right corner (where a chat tab normally is)
If you are trying to find us, my partner Lera and I try get there every week but have other commitments occasionally. Our other organizers, Sarah and Rob are also down most weeks. If you are coming for the first time, drop a message here saying you are coming and one of the regulars will reach out. Otherwise, if we are there, we will be probably already be climbing, so ask at the desk about eartH2Ocean adventures or look for us wearing our eartH2Ocean adventures t-shirts!!
Rock climbing is one of the best activities you will ever do that challenges you both physically and mentally. It is a great way to workout while having fun and making friends. Come try something new!!!
Date & Time
We host at Extreme Edge every second week, but most of our regulars that live close will go every week. So you are welcome to come down on the off week and meet up with the crew. The start time we say is 6pm but people will arrive when they can after work. If it is your first time, remember to get down 10mins before the hour so you can do the quick belaying course.
