The saunter begins at lily loved pond that is curtained with cathedral like trees. We'll then gently hike the deep woods of RI, cross a bridge at a stream, and arrive in a forest prairie like setting. The walk enters a fern gully then we ever so slightly rise into the dry pitch pine forest. Our journey continues to spruce things up in frosty hollow and then onto a riverside stroll that will bring us back to where we started.
This hike is rated intermediate due the overall length even though the trails are relatively gentle. Agility is required to keep pace. The walk is 6.5 miles in distance. Your nature guide is a map maker by trade and holds certs in wilderness medicine. The Eathern Fellowship has a perfect safety record. Bring water and a couple of healthy snacks. Please arrive a wee bit early for light stretching and friendly introductions. Our meeting is located at these precise coordinates: 41.597782, -71.704058
