Maples, pines, oak, the ever so wavy mt laurels, and the souvenirs of summer await our arrival in the Pachaug Park. This flume of a faerieland is so alluring that it could only be described in the word, mystery. Beautiful moss and ferns hold on not only to the edge of a ravine but they may also hold on to a dream then resend it on the floats of the wind and get caught on a tree for this years stick talk.
The nature lovers enter the forest following the tree doctors yes noddings as their sunshine stances are properly pointed in the loving direction. As the journey progresses, the group will retreat at a remote wetland hued in sun and tinted in joy. Then on to a pioneers waterfall with a couple of caves tucked in between. We will trace along the margin of a pond where we’ll make sure to let the eye linger on nature’s health in the hopes of enhancing our memories lovely things. The fellowship will then traverse the dramatic ravine while holding a stream as handrail. We’ll make frequent beauty stops to bask in, what is, a romance garden. This opportunity offers a chance to listen to the fantasies of ferns and the trickling rivers whispers that get carried away on a soft wing.
Your nature guide holds certs in wilderness medicine, is trained in Apache tracking, ancient living skills, counter tracking, ancient scouting, and wilderness navigation. Our walk is rated at slightly less than intermediate due to agility requirements and it is 4.5 miles in walking distance. Bring something healthy to eat and water.
