The capstone of our 2022-2023 term, DTM and 2018-19 Toastmasters International President, Lark Doley will participate in this week's session to present a workshop on leadership.

Lark's brief bio:
A member of Toastmasters since 1990, Distinguished Toastmaster Lark Doley served as the 2018-19 Toastmasters International President. In her professional life, Lark has owned a successful manufacturing business, worked as a Marketing Manager at Texas Instruments, and before her retirement in 2021, worked as a Training Manager for Maximus. Lark lives in a lighthouse home outside of Austin, Texas, USA overlooking Lake Travis. The home was built by her late husband Roger in honor of her late father-in-law Arthur. Both men were born in England and both men loved the sea. At Toastmaster events Lark often wears golden outfits to symbolize the value of membership in Toastmasters. Toastmasters provides abundant communication and leadership opportunities for all its members. Why did you join Toastmasters? When you joined Toastmasters, did you realize the leadership opportunities available to you? Which Toastmasters leadership roles have you experienced? What have you gained from those roles? When Lark Doley began her journey in Toastmasters in 1990, she joined to improve her communication skills. Then she learned about the leadership development opportunities in Toastmasters. Through her years in Toastmasters, seven principles of Golden leadership emerged. Participate in this session and see if you agree with Lark’s Golden leadership principles!

Where best to gain insight on leadership than one of Toastmasters own leaders. Join us for this capstone event of another year of Wellness, Sustainability and Veganism with Earthlings. Our meetings are on every 2nd (English), 3rd (Mandarin) and 4th (English). Every meeting is 1.5 hours, just right for the learning and efficient enough to cover all aspects of a Toastmasters meeting. :)
