Come learn about the history of fire and how to make it yourself. This is something all our ancestors had in common!
You can try out Fire Plow, Bow Drill, Hand Drill, and Flint and Steel.
- Please bring a sharp knife, if you have one. I will have a few extras for those who don't have a knife.
- It is okay if you don't want to partake in the fire-making. You can observe and socialize. You could do your own crafts concurrently. You can come and go as you please. All is good.
We will group up in the open field to the left of the parking lot, near the bathrooms. I'd like to stay in the sunshine there. If we do move, it will likely be to the shelter that is 100 meters down the trail to the left.
