Pre:invent Mingle

Ipswich AWS User Group is back and in person! We will be holding a pre-re:invent mingle where we would love you all to come along and share with each other what you’re wishing to be announced the following week. We will also be doing ad-hoc chalk talks where you can talk to each other about AWS and pick each other brains. This will include people from AWS and Inawisdom and can be on any subject you wish. Alternatively, if you’d just like to come along for a social chat and some pizza, then please do!

The venue is Isaacs on Ipswich Waterfront, on 25th November and the timings are:

• 18:30 start (pizza and beer)
• 19:00 intro from Phil and Lee
• 19:15 mingle (more pizza and beer)!
• 20:30 close! We do have the room until closing time you welcome to make a night of it

Sponsors:

Inawisdom are proudly sponsoring this event for us so that we can pay for the venue, buy the pizza and initial beers. Inawisdom is an AWS Premier Partner, founded and from Ipswich. They are specialists in Data Analytics and Machine Learning on AWS. You can find more details about them at www.inawisdom.com.

Covid-19:

We are doing this in person, and we cannot wait to meet you all again. However, Covid-19 is still out there, so we encourage you all to be either double vaccinated, taken a lateral flow test within 48 hours or have recent natural immunity. If you prefer to wear a mask during the event, then your are more than welcome to do so. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible.

Prize Draw:

We will be doing a prize draw to win an AWS backpack. All attendees’ names will be put into a hat and a winner picked. There is a little story behind the AWS backpack that Phil will share on the night.

Regards,

Phil, Lee and Ozi
