Purpose: To promote culture, the arts, and academic endeavor
Participants: Chinese program students, families and educators
Hands-on cultural activities

• Traditional crafts (various Chinese handcraft stations)
• Chinese traditional clothing (Hanfu) try-on
• Learning and practicing traditional Chinese dance
• Guzheng (Chinese zither) learning and practice
• Learning Weiqi (Go board game)
• Hands-on Chinese drum experience
• Dragon dance practice (“Playing with Dragon”)
• Lion dance practice (“Playing with Lion”)
• Learning Chinese martial arts
• Learning Chinese painting and drawing
• Learning Chinese calligraphy
• Learning origami and paper cutting

Performances and shows

• Student performances and talent show on the main house porch stage
• Scheduled group performances from local schools and dance/music teams throughout the day (e.g., drum teams, Hanfu team, dance academies, yo-yo team, wushu)
