Coffee Roasting at Chase’s

A lot folks drink coffee and few have had the pleasure of seeing coffee roasted! Since I have a small roaster at home, I thought I’d roast some coffee and talk through the different steps. This will be at my house so I’m limiting it to 10 people.

As part of this event, I’d like to brew coffee as well. Bring your favorite brewer and some beans and I’ll provide hot water and a grinder (if you need). We can experiment with different variables like water chemistry to determine how it affects flavor (or just enjoy the coffee with one water). I just want people to get to try different coffees.

Since this will be around lunch time, I’ll provide some food. If you’d like to bring a dish to share, please do! If you’d rather just taste coffee and head out, that’s fine as well.
