Details

We will read together the entirety of Stanley Mitchell's English translation of Alexander Pushkin's Eugene Onegin. The work is expected to take between 3-4 hours of out-loud reading.

This reading will be held in Berkeley, with address details to follow. Participants are asked to stay for the entire reading, contribute to the reading if they feel comfortable doing so, and refrain from sleeping, eating, or talking. Short breaks will be scheduled throughout.

Afterwards there will be a five-minute period of silent meditation. And then we adjourn.

Please bring any candles (with holders) that are special to you, in order to help set the tone.
