Join us for a special day of **play with an *impact ***at the East Bay Lesbian & Queer Women Open Play & Social this Sat from 1p - 4p at the OceanView courts in Albany!
Let’s come together for fun, and your generosity will help make a real difference for the Berkeley Women's Daytime Drop-in Center.
For every $10 you contribute, you will receive 1 raffle ticket and you need not be present to win. Text me a screenshot of your contribution and I will put tickets in the drawing for you. Only one prize per member. Prizes include:
A Pickleball Gear Bag // $50 gift certificate for Homeroom // 2 $25 Gift cards from Courtside Tennis & Pickleball // One meal from Picante’s // An EBL&QW tank top and more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We’ll be at OceanView Park in Albany from 1 PM to 4 PM doing what we always do but this time with an impact. All monies collected on this day will go to the Berkeley Women's Drop-In Center, excluding t-shirt and tank top sales.
It's Mother's Day weekend, bring your kids or your mom!!!

There will be 6 courts available:
- 2 for beginner/beginner-intermediate
- 2-3 for intermediate
- 1-2 for challenge level
(Courts will be adjusted as needed to match the skill levels of those attending.)
This event is designed for fun and connection—plenty of time for active play, but also to catch up with old friends or make new ones!
Bring your community spirit, a paddle, some finger foods to share, and drinks for yourself. Looking forward to seeing you there!
NOTE TO BEGINNERS: There are no formal lessons given at this social. We ask beginners to familiarize themselves with the rules before coming out if you can. 2 Quick ways to get started:
