Neurodivergents Unite! - Sept 8th - Victory Point Cafe (Meeting 45!)

Details
Welcome to Neurodivergents Unite, the East Bay Neurodivergents Meetup! Come one come all, bring a friend, game, or your latest hyperfixation!
This meetup will be a return to the pre-Firehouse style at Victory Point Cafe in Berkeley (a board game cafe). We are still evaluating future potential meetup venues, but for now we are excited to return to Victory Point! Please see our survey here if you have not already responded: Survey Clicky Here
Please note, for those who have not been at a Victory Point meetup before, it can get loud, particularly with street noise and/or indoor noise, so please feel free to bring earplugs, headphones, or noise cancelling options if you feel they would be helpful for you.
Please note the following agenda:
7:00 - 7:15 - Participant arrival, pay dues (Cash or Venmo to hosts)
7:15 - 7:20 - Host introductions and opening remarks
7:20 - 8:30 - Games! Unstructured time!
8:30 - 8:45 - Closing circle and remarks
Anyone who would like to help clean up after is welcome to.
Starting 9/8/25 the event will be $8 per person per event (cash or Venmo please) for anyone who wants to attend. Donations are welcome. This charge is directly required by the venue. This change has been highlighted in our discussion board and we are open to inquiries about how this will work.
For the remainder of 2025, our meetups will be held once per month, more will be explained in the discussion post.
Some reminders and information about NDU:
- Street parking Is available around the area and it is approximately four blocks north of the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station.
- We will use a color coding system (red, yellow, green) to indicate social battery levels.
- Reminder that consent is about both personal space AND other kinds of intimacy in words, attention, or sharing of information.
- We are a social group, not a dating meet up
Our Group's Mission: To provide space and resources to foster connection and community for neurodiverse adults via shared interests. To create safe spaces for marginalized and neurodivergent communities in the Oakland Bay Area. Our commitment means we will focus on, foster, and not shy away from difficult conversations about the intersections of our identities.
