Sunset Hike at Mission Peak

Let’s switch up our cardio and catch a beautiful sunset and the full moon in one epic evening hike!

Location & Time:
Mission Peak via Ohlone College Trailhead
(Closest parking lot: Ohlone College Parking Structure [$4] – 50 Pine St, Fremont, CA 94539)
We’ll meet and start our hike at the trailhead at 6pm. Sunset is at 8:07PM. As soon as the full moon rises, we will make our way back.

Trail Info:

• 7.3 miles roundtrip
• ~2,135 ft elevation gain
• Out-and-back route
• Expect a steady climb at the beginning and steep climb toward the peak — great workout, amazing payoff!

What to Bring/Wear:

• Plenty of water
• Layers — it can get windy at the peak
• Headlamp
• Hiking boots recommended
