Novella review of Moonlight by Thomas White

Details

Join us for a novel critique of Thomas White's sci-fi novella, Moonlight! The novella is 33,000 words. To join one of our novel critiques, you must have already attended at least one of our monthly critique sessions.

Here is the description of the novella:

Alexis de Gourges, astronaut of the Kingdom of Vespuccia, is the first human to step on the moon.

She’s also stranded.

The propellant leak that left her lander immobile was cruel fate. But the crash nearby, three days later, of a lander from the Aliyad Republic – the Vespuccians’ great rival in the nuclear standoff back on Earth – has to be more than a coincidence. The Aliyad aboard, Tolga, is evasive and acting suspicious, food and oxygen are running low, and the conflict on the ground is escalating fast. But if Alexis and Tolga can put aside their differences, they might have a chance to save not only themselves, but also their nations back home.
