Please join us in downtown San Leandro on Thursday morning, December 13, 2012, for the last edition of 2012 of this ongoing series of monthly business coaching and informational exchange business breakfasts. As always, the event is free and includes a light breakfast. RSVP to be sure we have enough chairs and tables set up (we barely had enough last time due to last minute add-ons). See event time and location details above.

You need not be a Chamber member to attend, but if you aren't, please ask when you come about the benefits of membership in your local Chamber(s).

Here's our national host and "serial entrepreneur", Fran Tarkenton (more about Fran below): "As we reach year’s end, now is the time to look back on 2012 and ponder our accomplishments, our setbacks and our plans for the future. As entrepreneurs and business owners, we can all make improvements. The most important thing is that we learn from what we’ve experienced. Join me for a special session this month as I sit down with my son Matt Tarkenton to share some experiences, not only from this year, but from my career as well. I hope you’ll gain an insight that can help make your entrepreneurial journey even more successful in the future. Join us!"

Who is Fran Tarkenton?

Fran Tarkenton knows better than most what it takes to succeed in a competitive arena. As one of the NFL’s all-time great competitors, his leadership skills have been tested time and time again. He was inducted into the National Football League and Collegiate Football Halls of Fame. He was an All-American at the University of Georgia. As quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, Fran took his team to the 1973, 1974 and 1976 Super Bowls. Since leaving the NFL, Fran has become an advocate for small business and a "serial entrepreneur," starting more than 20 companies.
