What we’re about
This is a Saturday morning group for women who want a dedicated time each week to work on their writing -- poetry, essays, novels, memoirs, etc. -- and meet other women who write. For now, we'll be on Zoom in light of Covid-19 with hopes of eventually holding our meetings in person. Meetings start at 10 a.m. and end at noon.
Schedule:
10:00-10:15: Introductions and socializing.
10:15-11:15: One hour quiet writing off Zoom. A prompt will be provided, but if you have an idea or project you can work on that as well.
11:15 to noon: Regroup and share -- this is voluntary and there is no feedback or critique from others. It's just a five-minute opportunity to read your work out loud, hear your words and allow others to get to know you and enjoy your writing.
