Monthly Writing Share Meetup

Hi, this meetup is for amateur adult writers. We meet online to share a short (5 min) piece of poetry or prose that we're working on. The type of writing samples we share are intended to be "works in progress" that we want feedback on. Writing which we've fully completed are probably not the best fit for this forum because the goal is to engage with others in the midst of the creative process. There are no limitations on genre or style.

At the beginning of the session, we go around the virtual "room" so everyone has an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves. Next, each author takes a turn to read a 5 min sample of their work to the other participants. Then listeners can share their thoughts and reactions. Our community values kindness, respect, candor, and thoughtful commentary. We look forward to sharing with you!
