Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee: James Whistler Online Art Lecture

Details
As a leading proponent of the Aesthetic Movement that proclaimed "art for art's sake", James Abbott McNeil Whistler often used the terms "harmonies" or "symphonies" in naming his paintings. His paintings were indeed harmonies of monochromatic tones, yet his personal relationships could be quite contentious. His most famous painting, Arrangement in Grey and Black No.1, commonly known as Whistler's Mother, is his most famous (and often parodied) portrait of motherhood.
The lecture is $10 + $1 Paypal fee for a one-hour lecture per device.
