Per Honor Flight: "Please join us Sunday as the spring Tour of Honor returns after their visit to Washington, D.C. The flight will have 78 World War II veterans on it and lets give them a big HEROES WELCOME!

When: Sunday
Date: May 6
Time: 2 p.m. (plan to arrive no later than 1:30 p.m. in case the flight is early)
Where: Lindbergh Field, Terminal 2 baggage claim

An estimated 500-1000 people will be on deck to welcome these heroes. Some of these veterans never received a homecoming when they returned from war. This day will be your opportunity to give them the welcome they deserve and to thank them for their service. There will be active duty military "manning the rails" and delivering salutes to each veteran. There will be children and adults wearing red, white and blue and waving American flags while military and patriotic songs play. There will be hand shakes, smiles, hugs, and tears - it is an experience you will never forget.
