Prompt Writing Night
Details
đŹ Whatâs this about?
Feeling stuck? Need a little creative spark?
Join us for a no-pressure writing focus session designed to help you unlock your creativity, start something new, or simply enjoy writing alongside others who get the chaos of too many tabs and half-finished drafts đ
This evening is all about freedom, fun, and flow. No negativity, no expectations, just words.
đ°ïž Evening Schedule
18:30 â 19:00 | Arrivals & Introductions
Grab a drink, get comfy, and meet your fellow writers! Weâll do quick intros - share what youâre working on (or not working on đ) and what brought you here. No stress - this is just about connection.
19:00 â 20:30 | Prompt Writing Session
Youâll get two creative prompts to choose from. Pick the one that speaks to you and dive in. Youâll have 90 minutes of focused writing time to start a new piece or explore an existing one - it doesnât have to be finished or polished. The point is to write, not to be perfect. âïž
20:30 â 22:00 | Sharing & Idea Jam
If youâd like, you can share what youâve written - even if itâs just an outline, a paragraph, or your thought process.
Instead of heavy feedback, weâll focus on:
- Ideas for where your piece could go next
- What already shines or stands out
- Words or images that stuck with us âš
If no one feels like sharing, thatâs cool too - weâll chat, swap ideas, and maybe grab a bite or drink.
đ§ What to Prepare
- A mini introduction:
Be ready to share your name (yes, write it down if nerves turn your brain to soup - weâve all been there đ ).
Then tell us a bit about yourself - anything youâre comfortable sharing! For example: - Where youâre from, what you do, or what sparked your interest in writing
- A fun fact or hobby outside of writing
- What kind of writing you do - fiction, non-fiction, poetry, fanfic, journaling, etc.
- The project youâre currently working on: format (short story, novel, essay, etc.) and theme/plot in a nutshell
Try to keep it to about 1â2 minutes, just enough for everyone to get a sense of who you are. - Your writing tools:
Bring whatever you usually write with - laptop, notebook, typewriter, stone tablet, etc. âïž - Headphones:
Optional, but helpful if you like writing with music or white noise. - An open mind and kind heart:
Bring your inclusive, curious, and wonderful self. Thatâs the most important part. đ
đ± Whoâs this for?
Anyone who writes - or wants to. Whether youâre an experienced author, an occasional poet, or just trying to unblock that creative muscle, this session is a safe and supportive space to get inspired.
