Highlights include: – Retrace a short part of the Remount Horse walk – St James Church Built by earl Derby for £3000 – Rough Wood where the stone for St James Church was quarried. Proposed lunch stop – Lady’s Walk – Pass along side Blythe Hall a grade II listed building with its training gallops, once owned by Dave Whelan – Burscough Priory built around 1190, but only ruins remain. The original eight bells divided between Ormskirk and Croston churches. – Visit the last remaining building of the Remount Depot

We very much welcome new walkers, but if you have already attended three walks you must have joined the LDWA and have a current membership.
