What we’re about
Welcome!
This is a walking group for child-free people (by choice or by life’s flow), roughly aged 30–50, who want to connect with like-minded, open-minded professionals and enjoy nature — without early alarms or school talk.
We meet mainly on Sundays, around midday, afternoon or very early evenings — never in the morning (lazy mornings are sacred here!). In the summer, we may also do the occasional relaxed weekday evening walk.
We’ll explore places across the East Midlands, with a strong focus on the Peak District. From time to time, we may also organise simple nature walks where we pick up a bit of litter along the way — just to leave the place a little cleaner than we found it.
It’s all about slow-paced, friendly walks, fresh air, and real conversations in good company.
This group is for people who enjoy all kinds of humour — whether it’s dark, dry, silly or sarcastic. If you take everything seriously or get offended easily… this might not be your thing. We like to laugh and keep things light.
Also, a heads-up: I’ll often be exploring new trails together with the group, using an app like AllTrails. So don’t be surprised if we occasionally wander a bit off-route — that’s part of the fun. The adventure is real, but the signal usually comes back before we lose more than 10% of the group. 😉
