Bolton Notch Rails-to-Trails to Steele's Crossing Road


Details
We will meet at the commuter lot ("park and ride" on rt 6/44, (not Bolton Notch State Park) at 6pm and leave promptly at 6:15 pm. Sunset is at 8:30. We will take the Greenway to the rail trail, and head south through the tunnel under rt 6, walk about 2 miles down the trail to Steele's Crossing Road, and return.
Elevation gain: Almost none.
Time: about 2-2.25 hours; we will be back at or before sunset, which is at 8:30
Difficulty: Easy, pace 2-2.5 mph
Please wear appropriate footwear (i.e. hiking boots) and clothing, bug repellent, and bring at least one liter of water per person. Bring a flashlight/headlamp as the tunnel under rt 6 can be very dark.
Rain cancels.
