Valley Falls to Walker Reservoir

We will meet at the Valley Falls parking lot at 10:45am and leave at 11am. We will cross Valley Falls Rd and follow the Shenipsit Trail and a few unmarked but well travelled side trails to Walker Reservoir and back. The exact route will be determined according to trail conditions and organizer preferences.

Distance: 6 miles;
Elevation gain: a few hundred feet at most, with a few moderate ups and downs.
Difficulty: easy to moderate, with a few muddy areas to bypass and a few stream crossings.
Dogs must be pre-approved by the organizer, and leashed where required by law.

Please wear appropriate footwear (i.e. hiking boots) and bring at least one liter of water per person.
