West Hartford Reservoir Red Trail (paved)

We will meet at the 2nd blue light kiosk in the parking lot at 11:15 and leave at 11:30. We will follow the paved red trail. It is a 3.5 mile loop, beginning and ending at the parking lot. Pace is 2-2.5mph, and this walk is rated "easy".

Please wear appropriate footwear (hiking boots) and clothing, snacks, and at least one quart of water per person.

There will be an option to add about 2 more miles off trail (i.e. on packed snow) after we have completed the red trail, which will not be part of the official meetup, and which will require basic hiking skills, and depending on trail conditions, hiking poles and traction devices.

Snow/rain/sleet cancels.
