West Hartford Reservoir Red Trail and Off Pavement Trails

We will meet at the 2nd blue light kiosk deep in the parking lot at 11:15am and leave at 11:30. We will start on the red trail trails to get
to the Metacomet trail and follow it and other trails to form a 6 mile loop
back to the parking lot. Some trails may still have minor sections of mud
and be slippery in a few spots. Due to this and a few ups and downs, this hike is rated moderate Please wear appropriate footwear (hiking boots) and clothing, snacks, and at least one quart of water per person.
Snow/rain/sleet cancels.
