I love this trail. It has rugged terrain, multiple waterfalls, rivers, elevation changes, amazing scenery, great scenic overlooks and more. Bring your lunch for this trail. Great overlook to sit down and eat. Go counterclockwise to get the harder part out of the way. I would say this trail is moderately too hard depending on your hiking experience. It takes me longer to do this trail than what All trails say because I know this trail, and I know where some caves are, and I wander around. A fun trail. Not boring at all. Great trail! Have good footwear for the rocks, otherwise you’ll have a blast!
Proceed cautiously on this 9.3-mile loop trail near Tracy City, Tennessee. Generally considered a highly challenging route, it should only be attempted by experienced adventurers. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are February through November. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Fantastic people on the trail. I don’t know if that’s normal, but it stood out. Also, just gorgeous in general. Creek walks and Mountain View’s with multiple waterfalls. Cannot beat it.
