North Knoxville Historic Walk 5K/10K w/ETW, North Knoxville, Saturday, May 24th

What: Join the East Tennessee Wanderers for a 5K or 10K walk in the Old North Knoxville Historic District, North Knoxville. This walk explores one of the earliest neighborhoods of Knoxville, TN. We will then enjoy lunch at K-Brew or Yee-Haw Brewing.

When: Saturday, May 24th. We will start the 10K at 9:00am and the 5K walk at 10:00am. Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time to register.

Where: We will meet at K-Brew, 1138 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN. PARKING will be street parking along Wells Ave near N Broadway. Restrooms are available. Attendees are encouraged to support the business with drinks, snacks or bagels for the restroom privilege. (Closest thing to New York Bagels in TN.) Optional lunch at K-Brew or Yee-Yaw Brewing. Yee-Haw Brewing is located at 745 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN.

Details: We will be walking on the sidewalks of Old North Knoxville as we view original business districts and residential streets. There will be modest elevation gains (less than 400ft) over the course of the walk. This walk would be rated a 2A.

This is a sanctioned walk and the cost is $3.00, cash, payable to the walk leader at the start of the walk to cover sanctioning and insurance costs. ETW members can pre-register on-line using the on-line start box.

Dogs are allowed on a leash for the walk. Dogs are allowed outside at Yee-Haw Brewing.
