Parenting, Patience, and Disability Study
Do you have a child with disabilities between the ages of 11 and 17?
We invite you to participate in a first-of-its-kind research study exploring how parents experience and understand patience while raising children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. Your insights will help us develop practical resources to support parents and caregivers as their children transition toward adulthood.
Participating parents will complete an online survey each spring over four years. The survey takes 45 minutes. It asks about your views and experiences related to parenting a child with disabilities. You will be paid for your time. The study launches in March 2026.
