MAJOR news to report out of the United States Senate last night!
The Senate Finance Committee has released the text for their version of President Trump's so-called "Big Beautiful Bill," and it now includes both the Hearing Protection Act (HPA), which removes suppressors from the National Firearms Act (NFA), and the SHORT Act (H.R. 2395), which delists short-barreled rifles (SBRs) and short-barreled shotguns (SBSs) from the NFA’s burdensome regulations.
Make no mistake, NONE of this would be possible without your MONTHS of calls, emails, petitions, and pressure on Congress and the Senate.
YOU created the political environment that has allowed this political language to even be considered in the BBB.
This is a historic opportunity to dismantle nearly a century of unconstitutional restrictions on our rights!
By removing suppressors and short-barreled firearms from the NFA, this bill eliminates the $200 tax stamp, endless ATF paperwork, and invasive registration requirements, allowing law-abiding gun owners to exercise their freedoms without government overreach. <
