Welcome to the East Valley RC Crawlers, a group dedicated to the amazing and challenging hobby of RC rock crawling and scale off-roading! Whether you're a seasoned veteran with a competition rig or a complete beginner with your first SCX24, this is the place for you.
We are a casual and friendly group focused on getting together, sharing our love for RC trucks, and exploring some of the incredible natural terrain the East Valley has to offer. Our meetups are all about having fun, learning from each other, and tackling difficult lines.
What to Expect:
Casual Meetups: We'll be exploring and crawling at local spots like Falcon Hill, Papago Park, South Mountain, and other great public lands around the East Valley.
All Skill Levels Welcome: Don't worry if you're new to the hobby! Our members are happy to offer advice on everything from chassis setup and tire choices to driving techniques.
Scale and Trail Runs: Our focus is on scale crawling and trail runs. We love a good challenge, but the main goal is to have a good time and enjoy our rigs in a great outdoor setting.
A Family-Friendly Community: This is a hobby for all ages! Kids are welcome to join with their rigs and enjoy the trails.
What to Bring:
Your favorite RC crawler (any scale is welcome!)
A fully charged battery (or a few spares!)
Water, sunscreen, and a chair for breaks.
A good attitude and a willingness to learn and share!
