Hilma af Klint: “The Five” Séance
A workshop of automatism and spiritual abstractions of Hilma af Klint and "The Five".

Activities:
1. Learn about Hilma af Klint’s art career.
2. Examine her method and technique.
3. Exercise automatism and spirit abstraction.
4. Develop color theory skills
5. Participate in a re-enactment of "The Five", a séance of spirits, both known and unknown.
6. Practice art discussion and interpretation.

Music:
As a tribute to Hilma, we've created a Swedish musical timeline, beginning in her era and moving through the decades. Just to let you know, you will have to sit through ABBA for the 80's!
