Building Community and Resilience in Times of Crisis (Zoom)

The events since the closing keynote of WordCamp US on September 20th have sent shockwaves through the WordPress community in a way that we can't ignore. People are upset and morale is low.

Let's meet on Zoom Sunday afternoon to talk about how we can stay connected, support each other, remember what we love about WordPress, and survive the turmoil.

This is not about what we think WordPress leadership should do, or about anyone being right or wrong. You can share those opinions on the social network of your choice. You can also talk to people who've tackled the subject of WordPress Governance before.

We want to know how we as a meetup group can help you as WordPress users and professionals to

• Support your clients if their sites have been affected.
• Identify and develop skills that are useful beyond WordPress.
• Learn more about other options for content management and web publishing, and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
• Handle disagreements without descending to personal attacks or destroying friendships.
• Restore our faith in each other.
