Hike Las Trampas

Greetings all my next hike will be Las Trampas. Hike Distance will be 4.75 to 5 miles. Elevation gain loss will be about 900 ft. It will be very windy on the ridge, so bring a jacket as well as trail snacks/lunch and water. Great views of San Ramon Valley as well so bring a camera. Trail is mostly open/unshaded. Trail up to ridge is where we do all elevation gain. Thats just over 1.5 miles. Relatively level alond the ridge for about 1.75 miles. The rest is all downhill. To get there take the 680 to Crow Canyon. Head West on Crow Canyon Rd to Bollinger Canyon RD. Head north on Bollinger Canyon Rd until it ends at the Las Trampas Parking lot. Park there. Trailhead is there. Please note the venue listed/picked by meetup is actually a little short of the the parking lot where we will meet. continue to the actual end of the road and turn left into the lot.
