Play Reading Taster Afternoon

You’re invited to try out the Eastbourne Social Play Reading Group.
You’ll be given a script of the play To Kill A Mockingbird which has a large cast - or, if numbers are fewer, Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard - and given a part to read. You can throw yourself into the part and speak with an accent or read more quietly in your own voice. We don’t act out the play; just make it come alive as we read it together.
Refreshments are on the house, and at the end we talk about the play.
